Rockley, Barbados

February, 2012
I have been playing golf for less than two years so this review of the course at Rockley will reflect that. Rockley is a nine hole course with separate tees for the back nine and has fairly narrow fairways, often with well placed trees protecting the greens. The greens are sloping, each with a different degree of slope to add to putting difficulty and there are usually bunkers in front and behind.

First A relatively wide fairway with trees on the right, out of bounds on the left and a bunker about halfway to the green. Without a driver, I was struggling to make the green in two; in fact, I only made it once. But I made the par four even though the hole was in a difficult position for the Rockley Open.
First green The green is convex and elevated more than is apparent in the photograph. A short ball will not roll onto the green but the ball can roll off.
